People - Coffee - Community
Coffee Projects
In all of our coffee projects, we emphasise the importance of community and the beneficial human connections made possible over a cup of coffee.

People and coffee are at the heart of Ukuzala and we always find a reason to enjoy a delicious cuppa together. From morning tea breaks in the garden, to quality control and blend development in Ukuzala Roastery, coffee is integral to the many wonderful human connections we value and seek to build.
Roastery
Ukuzala’s onsite roastery is the lifeblood of the coffee projects we facilitate from our rustic shed.

Utilising our Head Roaster's years of experience in specialty coffee and the support of a wonderful team, we partner with ethical and sustainability-focused green coffee traders to produce delicious roasted coffee in small batches, the majority of which we hand deliver to our valued wholesale customers in reusable tins to eliminate single use plastic coffee bags.
Our artisanal approach to roasting leaves plenty of space for collaboration, so that our customers and coffee consumers can provide us with valuable feedback to tweak our roast profiles. It’s just one of the ways in which we work together to make the coffee experience better.

Our coffee is available for wholesale and retail customers, with all proceeds going to support Barista Training and our other charitable endeavours. If you’re interested in partnering with us in your local cafe, get in touch at hello@ukuzala.org.au, or request access to our wholesaler's store by clicking here.

Arnie's is the public face of our coffee projects.

This cute little caravan and the ethos behind it is our way of nurturing community connections and sharing our delicious coffee with our lovely locals and weekend visitors.
