Home Away from Home

Respite for those in need

Ukuzala House provides short term respite accomodation for individuals, couples and families struggling with the hardships that are all too-often part of life. Situated on a large semi-rural block, Ukuzala House is comfortably furnished and equipped for a quick getaway. With enough space to sleep 8 - 9 people, there's room for your whole family and we welcome children.

Unfortunately no pets are allowed as we are a working garden.

Please also note that people will be working on a daily basis at various times in the garden or Espresso Bar but will not encroach on the privacy of the house guests.

Ukuzala House has four bedrooms, with various combinations of beds:

  • Main bedroom with queen bed and ensuite

  • 2nd bedroom with bunk bed (double below, single above)

  • 3rd bedroom with two single beds

  • 4th bedroom with queen bed

A portable cot and high chair are provided for infants.

The kitchen is equipped with kettle, toaster, cooktop, oven, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, cookware, utensils, crockery and cutlery.

Linen, towels and pillows are provided, and whilst there is a fully equipped laundry, we hope you'll leave the cleaning to us and focus on your own relaxation.

The house has a slow combustion wood fireplace in the living room and a split system air conditioner in the living area and main bedroom.

Wifi is provided and a pool is available for your enjoyment.

A welcome book with information about the property and surrounding areas is provided in the house.

Reconnect with nature

The magical Bouddi National Park is a stone's throw away, making it easy to reconnect with nature and rediscover a sense of peace and tranquility.

Stretch your legs while enjoying the breathtaking views on the Bouddi Coastal Walk, or take a short drive to one of the many beautiful beaches in close proximity to the Ukuzala grounds.

Ask our house manager for directions or be your own guide with the Trail Maps provided.
